SUMMARY:CAPTURING FIREWEED IN WATERCOLOR--Workshop with Ashlee Oliver-Frey
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT! \nIn this workshop\, participants will learn how to translate the vibrant colors and forms of fireweed onto paper\, enhancing their observational skills.  Students will learn foundation techniques such as brush strokes\, water-to-paint ratio\, creating color washes\, color mixing\, wet-on-wet\, wet-on-dry\, dry brush\, gradient wash\, ink-and-wash\, and splatter. \nMaterials provided in the cost of the workshop: traditional and metallic watercolor paints\, round watercolor brush\, watercolor paper\, watercolor palette for mixing\, gold and silver gel pen\, fireweed reference images. \nBeginner Friendly and appropriate for all skill levels.   Age Level: 16 + (children 12+ may join if accompanied by an adult). \nWorkshop Date: Saturday March 29th 12:00–3:00 pm \nClass Fee: $40  for payment and to reserve your spot in the workshop:Capturing Fireweed in Watercolor: Painting Workshop at Kenai Art Center – Ashlee Oliver-Frey Art \n  \n \nto learn more about artist Ashlee Oliver-Frey\, visit: https://ashleeoliverfreyart.square.site/ \n
