DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon of plein air\, leaf peeping\, and s’mores. We’ll meet at the Upper Skilak Lake Campground Day Use Area. I’ll bring firewood and s’mores fixings so we can warm chilly fingers and roast s’mores through out the afternoon. Bring any other food (something to roast on a stick perhaps)\, snacks and drinks you may want\, as well as plein air supplies and anything you need for a day in a wilderness area. \n– Alisia Sarren

DESCRIPTION:Let’s kick off the weekend with a little plein air! As we head into Autumn the Kenai River Flats are becoming a riot of color. I especially like the views here in the golden light at the end of the day. Bring whatever plein air supplies you like\, snacks\, drinks\, and if you want\, a chair or sit-upon. I’ve set the event time for 5 pm to 8 pm but stay and paint/draw as long as you like. Sunset that evening is at 8:15 pm. Just a heads up\, there are no restrooms at this location… there are bushes and tall grass though. \n– Alisia Sarren
