SUMMARY:Pale Jail Ale Release Party
DESCRIPTION:The Kenai Art Center and Kenai River Brewing have teamed up to promote one of the best kept secrets in Old Town Kenai\, the Historic Kenai Jail.\n\n\n\nKenai River Brewing will be in the Art Center Feb. 3rd from 5-7 pm serving up their brand new beer: Pale Jail Ale. There is no cover charge for the event\, people 21+ can purchase beer tokens. Pale Jail Ale T-shirt will also be available\, and all proceeds go to support the Kenai Art Center. Live music will be performed in the gallery by the Tune Weavers\, including jail-themed songs and other country favorites. \n  \nThe jail was added to the Kenai Police & Fire Station in 1957. In 1973\, the building was leased to local artists\, who slowly transformed it into the art gallery\, pottery studio\, and workshop space that still thrives today. Come by the Kenai Art Center\, see a show and the preserved historic jail\, and have a beer!
