SUMMARY:Mural Sale
DESCRIPTION:MURAL SALE!  In our back gallery for the months of May and August\, murals from our past mural shows will be stretched and for sale. Buyers will be able to take their murals home immediately after purchase.  This sale will open on Friday May 2nd at 5 pm and will close on Friday May 30th. In August\, the sale will open on Friday August 1st at 5 pm and run through Friday August 29th. When a mural sells\, we will replace it with a different mural\, so come back again and again to see the changes in the show. First Friday Opening Reception 5–7 pm. Refreshments and live music. Open to the public. Free event! \n  \nInformation For Mural Artists: \nThe KAC is looking for mural artists who have participated in past KAC mural shows to show and sell their stretched murals for our May 2025 mural sale happening in the back gallery.  \nIf you are interested\, here are the sale details:  \n\nYou must be a Kenai Art Center member to submit your mural for sale or there is a $35 entry fee.\nThe murals need to be on a stretcher frame. They don’t need to be traditionally framed\, but will only be accepted if they are stretched.  Hanging hardware must be attached on back of piece. \nEach artist needs to fill out and turn in an art entry form with their submissions. Each artist may submit up to 3 murals.   To download and print a form: https://kenaiartcenter.org/forms/\nWe are accepting mural submissions starting Saturday April 5th through Saturday April 26th. \nThis will be a rotating sale–meaning\, as a mural sells\, we will replace it with another one. This will help draw more people in to see your work since we will be changing the show each week. \nAll decisions about the order the murals are shown and hung is up to the executive director with input from the KAC board of directors. \n\nThere is also another mural sale in August\, so be thinking about getting your murals stretched for that one too!  \nIF you have any questions\,  reach out to us via email at kenaiartcenter@gmail.com
