SUMMARY:BLADES OF BRASS Live In Concert
DESCRIPTION:Saturday February 15th 2 pm at the Kenai Art Center! BLADES OF BRASS is a new chamber ensemble based on the Kenai Peninsula. Established in 2024\, it was formed by a group of musicians that are passionate about sharing the excitement and beauty of brass instruments! They will be performing classical works that demonstrate the power and lyricism of brass instruments\, fun and lively selections of famous jazz tunes\, and a lovely tango by Astor Piazzolaa. BLADES OF BRASS is also excited to perform music by contemporary composer Anthony Plog. \nTickets: $10 each (students free). Pick up your tickets at the Kenai Art Center (816 Cook Avenue in Oldtown Kenai).
