DESCRIPTION:Because of the 4th of July celebration\, this year the CLAY ON DISPLAY–RIVER SECOND Friday Opening Reception will be on July 11th from 5–7 pm.  Live Music. Refreshments. Free Event. Open to the public. This show will run through Friday July 26th. \n \nFrom the Kenai Potters Guild: \n“One thing we all have in common is our love for the environment. Rivers wind through our towns and our lives–whether we spend time on them or around them. Rivers connect us. We hope our CLAY ON DISPLAY–RIVER show encourages you to think about how the river plays a role in your life and the community around us. Join us as we celebrate the river and the creative current infused clay.” \nJoin us in the main gallery for the 2025 Potters Guild exhibition titled CLAY ON DISPLAY–RIVER. This annual event has become a much anticipated and loved show that brings locals and visitors alike. The KPG mission statement of  “Learn\, Create\, Pass It On” has been very apparent over the years as the guild has been involved in teaching pottery skills\, volunteering and helping at the local food pantry\, and creating for show and sales thoughtful\, utilitarian\, and beautiful works of art in clay for over 50 years. \nLearn more about the Kenai Potters Guild here: \n
