Exhibition: September 2026

Main Gallery: TWIG CROWNS AND PAPER BOATS featuring artist ABBEY ULEN

First Friday Opening Reception September 4th. 5– 7 pm

In our main gallery we welcome the works of artist ABBEY ULEN in her solo show titled TWIG CROWNS AND PAPER BOATS.

In Abbey’s words:

I truly believe it’s crucial to keep our sense of wonder and curiosity alive. Through this
collection, I hope we’re reminded of where we began—the toys we cherished, the
exploration of the natural world, the people who shaped us, and the magical imaginings
about adulthood that defined our playtime.
Using techniques like thin, flat paint passages contrasted with highly rendered areas, and
layering of additional elements, helps convey emotion in my work. I’m strongly inspired by
the styles of artists like Mary Cassatt and Andrew Wyeth, as well as the imagery and
storytelling of European medieval paintings.”

First Friday Opening Reception.  Artist talk around 6 pm, live music by Bob Parsons, and refreshments. Open to the public.

This show will run through September 25th.
