CALL FOR ART show for November--December 2026.
Title: BIG ART--SMALL DIMENSIONS (12X12X12 in)
Submission Dates: October 3rd through October 31st 2026
Show Dates: November 4th through December 18th 2026.
The KAC is interested in all forms of art on the smaller side. 2D, 3D, painting, sculpture, photography, fiber art, etc. Think BIG art in small dimensions! Click here for more info:

The KAC is inviting artists from around the Kenai Peninsula to be part of our 2027 show program at the Kenai Art Center! This is your chance to showcase your work in a vibrant gallery space at the heart of old town Kenai. We welcome work in any medium – painting, photography, fiber, digital, pottery, installation art, that fits within the KAC mission and vision statements:

“Inspiring a vibrant community through the practice, teaching, and appreciation of the arts on the Kenai Peninsula.
We envision a community filled with exciting and thought-provoking art where artists can achieve their fullest creative potential. We will promote the arts by nurturing artistic expression, cultural awareness, and community engagement.”

If you have a great idea for an exhibition we want to hear about it! We invite artists to submit proposals at any time for solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and curated exhibitions. Proposals are approved by the KAC board of directors based on the quality of the artist's past work, and by the quality of vision explained in the exhibition proposal. Apply for a Workshop

Calling ALL ARTISTS…for 2026--2027 CALL FOR WORKSHOPS at the Kenai Art Center!
We are taking submission applications via email.
If you have a great idea for a workshop, we want to hear about it! We invite artists to submit applications at any time for artist-led workshops. There is a one time building use fee of $45 paid by the artist to the KAC due by the day of the workshop. The artist is responsible for all POS and workshop reservations. The artist keeps all proceeds from the workshop.

Please include a brief explanation about what you envision for your workshop. Include:
Tentative title of workshop, what you want to teach, how many participants you can manage, cost per person and any other details you would like to include--like past workshop experiences, links to workshops you've taught previously, photos, customer reviews, etc.
All applications will be reviewed by the KAC Board of Directors and the Executive Director and will be approved for a workshop if the proposal reflects our mission statement and vision.
