FOR THE BIRDS Call-For-Art

The KAC, the Kenai River Brewing Company and the Tune Weavers will be getting together for this MARCH 2026 call-for-art show and beer launch fundraiser titled FOR THE BIRDS.  Live music and a locally brewed blueberry and chia inspired lager will be on offer at this bird themed fundraiser.

Opening Reception: Friday March 6th 5–7 pm.

Art Submission Details for artists: What peaks your artistic interest in birds? Movement, sound, behavior? The KAC is looking for bird themed art–2D, 3D, fiber art, sculpture, kinetic, photography, digital, etc that celebrates the love of birds. Work submitted must be created in the last 5 years and not shown at the KAC before. All artists applying must be Alaskan residents and 18 years of age or older. All submitted works must be accompanied by a filled out art submission form. All works must have traditional hanging hardware attached. Works that hang must be completely assembled when submitted and all unique hardware must be attached and supplied by the artist.

Artwork Submission Dates: February 7th through February 28th 2025.

Show Dates: This show will run from Wednesday March 4th through Friday March 27th.
