A MIDLIFE REVERIE Theresa Ritter Solo Show

We are excited to welcome artist Theresa Ritter and her solo show titled A MIDLIFE REVERIE to our back gallery in July.

First Friday Opening Reception July 3rd. 5–7 pm.

Reverie is a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream if you will. I am a lifelong creative who has explored many avenues of expression before falling in love with painting and finding the courage to share it with the world. This past October, I turned the big 5-0, which led me to a lot of reflection over the first half of my life leading to the inspiration for this show.  While my reveries of the last 50 years were not always pleasant, I definitely came across memories that shaped me into the person I have become today. From early childhood memories, those awkward, angst-filled teen years and life beyond as a responsible adult…so much packed into all those years that have raced by all too quickly. This body of work is a reflection of some of my memories….”
