Heather Floyd

Board Member

Heather Floyd grew up in Ohio. She studied Fine Arts and received a BA in Art History from the University of Cincinnati. There, she was introduced to blacksmithing, metalworking, and the process of shaping ideas through sculpture. She has made Alaska home since 2001, building a house, family, business, and community. She designs and creates art, home goods, and garden art that reflect the beauty and simplicity of nature. Her work is found online through her Etsy Shop, Makelift Studio, and The Kenai Art Center. A previous board member and long-time supporter of the Kenai Art Center, she looks forward to contributing to the growth of the arts in Kenai.
