Aquarelle–Call For Art Watercolor Exhibition & MOMENTUM–Silent Art Auction 2024

In the Art Center’s main gallery you will find different works that exemplify the “of the water” theme or AQUARELLE. Splashes, washes, deep and bold shades of color on paper, panel board and other surfaces combined with mixed media and some ink as well. This main gallery show is ready to view on Wednesday September 4th and ends on Friday September 27th at 5 pm.

In our back gallery we are holding our main fundraiser of the year–our Silent Art Auction titled MOMENTUM. Many talented and generous artists and art owners have donated original works for visitors to bid on to win their favorite pieces from this show. An art center takes a lot to stay up and running and the funds from this show will go towards helping us acquire some much needed updates and repairs like: new roof, new boiler, new gallery lighting system and many other things that our delightful but old building needs. This show contains many brand new original works created especially for this event by our favorite local artists. Pottery, paintings, silk wall hangings, etched glass jars, and more will be on display and up for bidding starting at the September First Friday Opening Reception Friday the 6th at 5 pm. The auction will run through the rest of September and through OCTOBER 25th closing at 5 pm.
