Kim McNett and Nature Journaling Workshop for Adults –Saturday June 8th 2024

Kim McNett is a Homer artist who has a strong bond to the natural world around her. In her own words: “A bond with nature is inherent to everyone. Out of curiosity and affection for the natural world, my practice integrates visual art, science inquiry, and wilderness adventure. I always strive to understand and convey the true character of my subjects to enrich both myself and my viewers. This interdisciplinary approach to nature art balances my mental, physical and emotional soundness, bolstering courage to face the great ecological challenges of our time.”

Kim will be showing her work in an exhibit titled “Fantastic Fens” in our back gallery during the month of June along with sharing her creativity and expertise in a journaling (for adults) workshop.
